Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge and practices related to anemia in mothers of children under 2 years of age who attend at a health center in SMP, Lima 2023. Materials and methods: A quantitative approach was followed, with a correlational/cross-sectional design. A total of 152 mothers participated in the study (sample). The applied technique was the survey, and the data collection instruments were two questionnaires, one for knowledge and another for practices regarding anemia. Results: A significant relationship was found between knowledge and practices regarding anemia (p<0.05). According to the specific hypotheses, it was found a significant relationship between the dimension of general knowledge about anemia and practices regarding anemia (p<0.05). Additionally, there was a significant relationship between the dimension of preventive measures and practices regarding anemia (p<0.05). In terms of knowledge about anemia, the medium value had a higher frequency with 78.9%, while for practices regarding anemia, the appropriate value had a higher frequency with 80.9%. Conclusions: There was a significant relationship regarding anemia between the main variables, knowledge and practices.
