Objective: To determine the quality of life in older adults residing in the Vista Alegre de Cerro Candela Human Settlement, 2023. Materials and methods: The study was quantitative, and had a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of 208 older adults residing in the Vista Alegre de Cerro Candela Human Settlement. The data collection technique was the survey, and the applied instrument was the WHOQOL-BREF, which consists of 26 questions and 5 dimensions. Results: Regarding the quality of life, the medium level predominated with 57.2%, followed by the high level with 30.3% and the low level with 12.5%. According to its dimensions, the high level predominated in global quality and general health with 52.9%, followed by the medium level with 42.8% and the low level with 4.3%; in physical health, the high level predominated with 64.9%, followed by the medium level with 19.2% and finally the low level with 15.9%; in psychological health, the high level predominated with 59.1%, followed by the medium level with 34.6% and the low level with 6.3%; in social relations, the medium level predominated with 56.7%, followed by the high level with 29.3% and the low level with 13.9%; in environment, the medium level predominated with 83.2%, followed by the high level with 15.9% and the low level with 1%. Conclusions: Regarding the quality of life, the medium level predominated, followed by the high and low level.
