Objective: To determine the perceived stress during the covid-19 pandemic by the nursing staff at Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz Hospital in Puente Piedra 2022. Materials and methods: The study was carried out from a quantitative approach and taking into consideration the descriptive-transversal design. The technique for collecting data was the survey and the instrument was the "Nursing Stress Scale - NSS", which consists of 34 items. Results: Regarding the level of stress, 46.5% (59 nurses) have a low value, 40.9% (52 nurses) have a medium value and 12.6% (16 nurses) have a high value. According to the physical environment dimension, 59.1% (75 nurses) have a low value, 32.3% (41 nurses) have a medium value and 8.7% (11 nurses) have a high value. Concerning the psychological environment, 46.5% (59 nurses) have a medium value, 40.9% (52 nurses) have a low value and 12.6% (16 nurses) have a high value. Respecting the social environment, 56.7% (72 nurses) have a low value, 31.5% (40 nurses) have a medium value and 11.8% (15 nurses) have a high value. Conclusions: Regarding stress, the low level predominated, followed by the medium level and high level.
