Objective: The aim of the study was to determine the degree of satisfaction of a patient who attend healthcare services at a private clinic in Northern Lima. Materials and methods: It was carried out using a quantitative approach with a descriptive and cross-sectional methodological design. The collection technique was the survey and the instrument was the SERVQUAL questionnaire modified by the Ministry of Health. Results: The overall results of the emergency and outpatient services show patient satisfaction in the dimension of "reliability" and "tangible aspects" (78%), however, there is a higher percentage of dissatisfaction in the dimension of "empathy" (36%). Classifying the results for each service, it results that the dimension "responsiveness" is the one with the highest number of satisfied patients in the emergency department (83%), in contrast to "empathy" which receives the highest dissatisfaction score (36%). Finally, in the outpatient service, users report greater satisfaction in the dimension of "tangible aspects" (78%) and greater dissatisfaction in the dimension of “empathy" (36%). Regarding the classification of the modified SERVQUAL survey, both services are within the acceptable range. Conclusions: In the emergency department, the dimension of "response capacity” shows the highest level of satisfaction among patients and the dimension of "tangible" predominates in outpatient clinic. On the other hand, the overall results of the five dimensions in the emergency service and outpatient clinic indicate that patients show dissatisfaction in the dimension of “empathy".
