Objective: To determine the quality of life during the pandemic by the new coronavirus, in older people residing in a disadvantaged area of Lurín, 2022. Materials and methods: The study was developed from a quantitative approach and its methodological design was descriptive and cross-sectional. We worked with a sample of 102 elderly people residing in a disadvantaged area. The technique to collect data was the survey and the measurement instrument was the WHOQOL-OLD questionnaire that presents 24 items/5 dimensions. Results: Regarding quality of life, the moderately good value predominated with 64.7% (n=66), followed by the good value with 21.6% (n=22) and the bad value with 13.7% (n=14). According to its dimensions, in sensory capacity, the moderately good value predominated with 60.8% (n=62), in autonomy, the moderately good value predominated with 57.8% (n=59), in past and present activities and future, the good value predominated with 85.3% (n=87), in social participation, the good value predominated with 79.4% (n=81), in death/dying, the moderately good value predominated with 64, 7% (n=66), finally in privacy, the moderately good value predominated with 54.9% (n=56). Conclusions: In the quality of life assessment, the moderately good value predominated, followed by the good value and bad value.
