Objective: To determine the total family risk in families of children under the age of five at the urbanization Naranjal in Los Olivos, Lima – 2022. Materials and methods: This is a quantitative approach research, with a non-experimental, descriptive and cross-sectional design, applying the survey of the total family risk instrument (RFT 5:33) to 70 heads of families of children under the age of five at the Urbanization Naranjal in Los Olivos. Results: Of all the families surveyed, it was found that 43 (62%) show risk of threatened, followed by 17 (24%) families with low risk, finally, 10 (14%) have a high-risk level. Regarding the dimensions, the condition of handling minors predominated in threatened families with 96%; secondly, the housing and neighborhood conditions in threatened families with 91%; thirdly, psycho-affective conditions, which was evidenced in the 87% of families threatened; in socioeconomic condition, it is observed that 51% of the respondents are families with high risk; finally, in practices and health services, it was identified that 50% are threatened families. Conclusions: It was evidenced that threatened families predominated, followed by low risk and high risk; This makes us known of the problems that exist in families with children under five years of age, therefore, efforts are being made to implement family education programs.
