Objective: To evaluate the total family risk in households with children under 5 years of age at the human settlement Miramar in San Martín de Porres - 2022. Materials and methods: The concluded research had a quantitative approach with a descriptive and cross-sectional design. The population was made up of 140 householders. The data collection technique was the survey and the instrument was the RFT 5-33 questionnaire, which consists of 33 items and 5 dimensions. Results: Regarding total family risk, those ones with low risk predominated with 62.9% (n=88), followed by the ones with threat with 27.1% (n=38) and high risk with 10% (n=14). According to its dimensions, those ones with threat predominated in psycho-affective conditions with 87.1% (n=122), followed by high risk with 12.9% (n=18); in health services and practices, the ones with threat predominated with 86.4%. (n=121), followed by high risk with 13.6% (n=19); in housing and neighborhood conditions predominated those ones with threat with 80.7% (n=113), followed by high risk with 19.3% (n= 27); in socioeconomic condition, the ones with threat predominated with 75.7% (n=106), followed by high risk with 24.3% (n=34) and those ones with threat predominated in handling children with 87.9% (n= 123) followed by high risk with 12.1% (n=17). Conclusions: Regarding total family risk, those ones with low risk predominated, followed by the ones with threat and high risk. According to their dimensions, those ones with threat predominated in all of them.
