Objective: To determine the quality of life in patients with cardiovascular diseases attending a specialized clinic located in Lima Norte, 2022. Materials and methods: This is a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional descriptive design. 120 patients participated in this research and it was applied the SF-36 questionnaire with 36 items and 9 dimensions. Results: Regarding quality of life, the high level predominated with 43.3% (n=52), followed by the very high level with 32.5% (n=39), the low level with 13.3% (n=16) and finally the average level with 10.8% (n=13). According to its dimensions, the very high level predominated in physical functioning with 55% (n=66) as well as in role in functioning/physical with 71.7% (n=86) and in pain with 71.7% (n=86), the average level predominated in general health with 60.8% (n=73), the high level predominated in energy/fatigue with 42.5% (n=51) and in social function with 36.7% (n=44), the very high level predominated in emotional function with 55.8% (n=67), the high level predominated in emotional well-being with 62.5% (n= 75), finally the high level predominated in change of health with 58.3% (n=70). Conclusions: Regarding the quality of life, the high level predominated, followed by the very high, low and average level. According to the dimensions, the very high level predominated in terms of physical functioning, role in functioning/physical, pain and emotional function, the average level predominated in the general health dimension and finally, the high level predominated in the dimensions of energy/fatigue, social function, emotional well-being and change of health.
