Abstract: La investigación se centra en analizar el consumo de Instagram en el Social Selling del emprendimiento Mamá Limonada en las mamás de 20 a 35 años de Lima Metropolitana a fin de ampliar el conocimiento que se tiene sobre el marketing y consumismo en el sector señalado. La metodología fue cualitativa descriptiva complementado con la guía de entrevista semiestructurada como instrumento que se aplicó a 15 madres de familia. Estos casos fueron seleccionados en base a los criterios de inclusión de ser madres que tengan acceso a internet, que tengan la disponibilidad y que hayan interactuado con alguna tienda de Instagram; asimismo, excluyó los casos en los que no se tuvo la intención de participar. Se encontró una alta apreciación por el contenido interactivo en lives y historias, lo que sugiere un interés en experiencias inmersivas y en tiempo real proporcionadas por estos emprendimientos. Además, valoran la variedad de pequeños emprendimientos, lo que indica una preferencia por la diversidad y la oferta única que estos negocios pueden ofrecer. Se evidencia que para el grupo de estudio la red social Instagram se presenta como una aplicación que conecta a las madres con los productos y contenido enfocado al cuidado y venta de ropa para sus pequeños a través del manejo de lenguaje audiovisual que apela al sentimiento y nostalgia de las madres. Finalmente se concluye que el análisis del consumo de Instagram entre las madres jóvenes de Lima Metropolitana revela que Instagram es la plataforma más utilizada para seguir el emprendimiento Mamá Limonada. La mayoría de las madres entrevistadas reporta usar Instagram todos los días, dedicando entre una y cinco horas diarias a la aplicación.
The research focuses on analyzing the consumption of Instagram in the social selling of the Mamá Limonada business among mothers aged 20 to 35 in Metropolitan Lima in order to expand the knowledge about marketing and consumerism in the sector in question. The methodology was qualitative descriptive complemented with the semi-structured interview guide as an instrument that was applied to 15 mothers. A high appreciation was found for the interactive content in lives and stories, which suggests an interest in immersive and real-time experiences provided by these businesses. In addition, they value the variety of small businesses, which indicates a preference for diversity and the unique offer that these businesses can offer. It is evident that for the study group the social network Instagram is presented as an application that connects mothers with products and content focused on the care and sale of clothing for their children through the use of audiovisual language that appeals to the feelings and nostalgia of mothers. Finally, it is concluded that the analysis of Instagram consumption among young mothers in Metropolitan Lima reveals that Instagram is the most used platform to follow the Mamá Limonada business. The majority of the mothers interviewed report using Instagram every day, dedicating between one and five hours a day to the application.
