Write the following in English: In the context of parental control, it refers to a mechanism used by adults to supervise the websites, devices and operating systems used by minors. Its purpose is to monitor the activities on social media and websites to ensure that they are appropriate for minors and do not expose them to risks of cybercrime. The features of parental control include the supervision and limitation of the use of technology by minors, including internet searches, applications, games and social networks. It has various functions, such as real-time location, call blocking, application control, web control and teaching digital skills. Parental control has benefits such as supervision, protection and education of minors in online activities. It also has disadvantages such as invasion of privacy, false feelings of security and limitations in access to educational content. The national and comparative regulation of parental control refers to the norms and entities that regulate the use of technology in Peru and other countries, such as Mexico, Argentina, Chile and the United States. These regulations seek to ensure the security, privacy and efficiency of digital services, as well as prevent and sanction cybercrimes.
