At the beginning of the pandemic, Peru became one of the countries in which it was hit by this scourge and technology imports were reduced as the scourge of the global economy and also caused solid waste collection services to be reduced. reduced and to it to many families causing a decline in their economy. Likewise, the Jaiplast SRL Company was reflected by the impact that occurred on its workers, for which the need was seen to improve the functionality of the network for the well-being of the workers as well as to improve the optimization of the computer infrastructure. The objective of the research work is to optimize communication networks to improve IT performance management in the Jaiplast SRL Company. This study is based on an applied, descriptive and correlational research process. The probabilistic sampling technique was used, whose dimensions are: efficacy, reliability and safety, whose data collection instruments were the IT performance management evaluation questionnaire. In the case of the statistical technique for the measurement of the variable, categorical data was chosen, made up of 12 questions and whose sample was 21 people, using the Shapiro Wilk normality test for its evaluation, obtaining a non-parametric result, therefore it was used the Wilcoxon test, obtaining an associated error of 0.000059, is less than 5%, so there is a significant difference between both pretests, whose mean is 20.24, and the posttest is 64.05, indicating that it was significantly higher. In this, the hypothesis test is accepted: The optimization of communication networks significantly improves IT performance management in the Jaiplast SRL Company.
