Factores asociados a la deserción de estudiantes de institutos superiores tecnológicos en el Perú

Abstract

En la presente investigación se realiza una revisión sistemática sobre la literatura disponible sobre la deserción estudiantil en los institutos superiores tecnológicos del Perú, específicamente, en los estudiantes de carreras técnicas, iniciando con la introducción sobre el tema y desarrollando posteriormente los antecedentes nacionales e internacionales de la investigación donde otros autores desarrollaron los mismos lineamientos de investigación y a través de sus hallazgos podemos conocer los factores asociados a la deserción estudiantil para que sean un hito para la investigación. En el desarrollo del tema, se presentan conceptos básicos sobre la educación superior tecnológica, de tal manera, también se desarrollaron las bases teóricas disponibles sobre los factores asociados a la deserción de los estudiantes de institutos superiores tecnológicos. Luego se estudiarán los factores que influyen en la deserción estudiantil para finalmente presentar datos sobre la deserción estudiantil técnica en el Perú. En las últimas páginas de la investigación se encuentran las conclusiones logradas a partir de los conocimientos presentados en la investigación, el aporte que supone esta investigación para los centros educativos y también las recomendaciones realizadas por la investigadora a partir de los hallazgos sobre la deserción estudiantil en los estudiantes técnicos del Perú.

In the present research, a systematic review of the available literature on student dropout in higher technological institutes in Peru, specifically in students of technical careers, is carried out, starting with an introduction on the subject and then developing the national and international background of the research where other authors developed the same research guidelines and through their findings we can know the factors associated with student dropout to be a milestone for the research. In the development of the topic, basic concepts about technological higher education are presented, in such a way, the theoretical bases available on the factors associated with the desertion of students from technological higher institutes were also developed. Then, the factors that influence student dropout will be studied and finally, data on technical student dropout in Peru will be presented. In the last pages of the research are the conclusions reached from the knowledge presented in the research, the contribution of this research for the educational centres and the recommendations made by the researcher based on the findings on student desertion among technical students in Peru.
