This research report entitled “Design and Development of bricks based on recycled plastics, to reduce levels of environmental pollution in the district of Carabayllo“ aims to develop the design and manufacture of bricks with recycled plastics (disposable bottles ), due to the high pollution that we face today in all the districts of the city of Lima. This research report focuses on Carabayllo, a Young district of Lima and for presenting high rates of contamination due to the manufacture of artisanal bricks from that place. The increase in the population in the main young towns has demanded the use of materials for their housing and an alternative are ecological bricks that allow minimizing environmental impacts. With this project, we want to provide a solution to the problem that grows more frequently every day, by using them on bricks the amount of plastic containers and cartons will reduce by a regular percentage, if you choose to purchase these products in homes, parks, sidewalks, etc. It would give solution to problems of construction and manipulation on the part of the people, the material tends to be more resistant since it is not only sand, since the plastic and cardboard are inside the bricks, making them acquire a harder consistency.
