Criterios de intervención patrimonial para afrontar el estado de obsolescencia de la ex fábrica de jabones del distrito de Chepén

Abstract

El patrimonio como legado industrial, que representa una parte histórica y una memoria colectiva, es un valioso recurso que aún no ha sido valorado en su totalidad. Estos activos forman parte de un contexto específico, el cual, es cada vez más importante considerar el patrimonio no como algo aislado, sino en relación con su entorno. La siguiente investigación tiene como objetivo establecer criterios de intervención patrimonial que permitan afrontar el estado de obsolescencia de la ex fábrica de jabones en el distrito de Chepén. Para lograrlo, se utiliza una metodología que analiza el estado actual del edificio, identificar su valor histórico en relación con su trascendencia y reconocer la relación de la prexistencia con la dinámica de la ciudad. La metodología empleada es el uso de mapas y recopilación de documentos, creando una superposición de capas. Estas herramientas permiten identificar oportunidades para abordar el estado de obsolescencia del complejo industrial, con el objetivo de convertirlo en un hito para la sociedad y que este elemento continue preservando sus características distintivas.

Heritage as an industrial legacy, which represents a historical part and a collective memory, is a valuable resource that has not yet been fully valued. These assets are part of a specific context, so it is increasingly important to consider heritage not as something isolated, but in relation to its environment. The following investigation aims to establish criteria for patrimonial intervention that allow to face the state of obsolescence of the former soap factory in the district of Chepén. To achieve this, a methodology is used that analyzes the current state of the building, identifies its historical value in relation to its significance and recognizes the relationship of pre-existence with the dynamics of the city. The methodology used is the use of maps and collection of documents, creating a superposition of layers. These tools make it possible to identify opportunities to address the state of obsolescence of the industrial complex, with the aim of turning it into a milestone for society and that this element continues to preserve its distinctive characteristics.
