The built heritage, the vast majority of which is religious, is under threat of disappearance, destruction or deterioration. So, the investigative work was aimed at finding various methods capable of making known the importance of the old church and chapels found in the Eten district. Given this situation, we seek to determine the architectural conditions of a building to preserve the material and intangible cultural heritage and help disseminate the identity of the population of Eten city. The study was carried out using a research method with a mixed orientation (qualitative and quantitative) and a non-applied design. The basis was the collection of data through documentary analysis, observation, interview, survey, photographic record and cartographies. The first church of the city and two chapels of Eten city were taken as samples. For its development, the research was divided into three specific objectives: In the first instance, identify the architectural conditions of the chapels built in honor of the Divine Child of the Miracle to evaluate, through historical data, the processes of alterations and degradation. The second intents to find out the tourist expectations of the population regarding the religious built heritage to value the cultural and heritage assets around the Sanctuary of the Divine Child of the Miracle of Eten City. And finally, propose strategies for the enhancement of religious built heritage.
