The research entitled “Social advertising campaign to raise awareness about street sexual harassment among high school students in Chiclayo“ proposed an alternative solution to a social problem in the region. Thus, the specific objectives were to diagnose the target audience of the social advertising campaign; develop the creative strategy for the social advertising campaign; and determine the relevant messages and channels for the campaign. In addition, the research had a qualitative methodology with a phenomenological approach. Likewise, an interview guide and an application form to diagnose secondary school students were used as instruments. Finally, it was concluded that the adolescents, even though they recognized the problem as something negative, they have also normalized it. In addition, they were unaware of the regulations that sanction sexual harassment in public spaces; however, they showed an open attitude to inform themselves on the subject. Regarding the concept, it had to be powerful and creative; the tone of the communication, preferably, had to be emotional and the storytelling strategy was chosen. On the other hand, humor or double meaning were avoided in the message and the chosen media were educational institutions and Facebook.
