The textile company in question is dedicated to the production and sale of school textile clothing. In recent years, it has presented a low productivity, this due to the lack of standardization of the work method, as well as machinery renewal. What has led them to not meet their demand and therefore lose sales, in addition to the poor distribution of operators in the stages leads them to present low labor productivity. To solve this, the objective was to propose the improvement of the production process of school garments. Thus, first the general situation of the company was diagnosed, for which a timing of the different stages was made to find the bottleneck. Then, the calculation of indicators was carried out, demonstrating low values for production, productivity and labor productivity, in order to propose the implementation of a cutter and a new distribution of stages, to finally simulate the proposal in the ProModel software to indicate the veracity of the data. Finally, the benefit-cost evaluation was carried out, developing the cash flow and using indicators such as VAN, IRR, B/C and PRI to determine the feasibility of the proposal. Regarding the increase in the values of the indicators of the proposal obtained, it was 15% for productivity, 15% for production and 44% for labor productivity. Thus demonstrating that the proposal generates an improvement in the company under study.
