By managing to optimize the real-time movements of the warehouse, superior decision-making was included, avoiding unnecessary acquisitions, due to instant queries of the total of materials or any other information, being of enormous productivity for the optician. This research developed 3 (three) essential processes: The input, output and inventory control process. In this sense, the research was developed based on a quantitative orientation, which allowed to obtain primary information, more than anything qualities, behaviors and understanding in the development of the problem, since, for the management of information technologies, it had as part of the work a design non-experimental, with the hypothetical-deductive procedure, which was based on previous theories with the intention of improving and obtaining new knowledge, which optimized the inventory management in the warehouse area of the optical company by 90%, applying all the analysis, processes and methods based on studies carried out. Likewise, for this case, the implementation of the web system to manage the warehouse was focused in a macro way through the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology. In the same way, for the elaboration of the system, the PHP programming language was used, for the information process a dedicated web server was used, using a MySQL database connection and to manage the permissions, MySQL Workbench was used. The investigation determined that the design and implementation of the web system to manage the warehouse of the optical company, significantly optimized said process in the warehouse area.
