The present research work entitled, “Informality and tax evasion in collaborators of the “Ruby“ Gallery of Emporio Gamarra, La Victoria, 2020“. It was proposed with the objective of determining the relationship between informality and tax evasion of textile merchants of the “Ruby“ Gallery of Emporio Gamarra, La Victoria, 2020. The method that was applied to this research is a quantitative approach, correlational descriptive research type, non-experimental cross-sectional design. The study population is made up of 240 and the sample of 53 textile merchants from the “Ruby“ gallery of the Gamarra emporium, applying two questionnaire instruments, one for V1 informality and the other for V2 tax evasion to know the relationship between both variables. being the reliable and validated questionnaires for the data collection of both variables, processing all the information through the statistical program SPSS V25. According to the results obtained, informality is related to tax evasion of the textile merchants of the “Ruby“ gallery of the Gamarra emporium, using the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient = 0.942, with a significant level of less than 5%; managing to show that informality is related to tax evasion. In conclusion, the research work indicates that there is a linear correlation, with a significant relationship between both variables studied.
