Nowadays, international transportation companies, whose core business is foreign trade, face many challenges that force them to reduce costs in the market to achieve a better position. Although it is true that the objective of consolidation is to have the greatest number of loads and, in order to achieve it, the best rates must be offered; in many cases, the offer of these services turns into losses for the companies themselves. In this project, the company Craft Multimodal S.A will be studied and how the investments they make, that is, money that they stop receiving and that finally becomes a loss, influence their profitability and reduce opportunities for their own benefit. A series of theories will be carried out to identify the reason for the problem. For any company in this sector, adequate consolidation is not simply based on managing a high volume of shipments, but also on generating greater profits. After having analyzed the factors that influence economic losses, a list of alternatives will be proposed where only one will be focused on solving the problem. Solving a problem is correcting poor management that brings with negative results, so we will look for the best method to minimize risks and support its growth and expansion so that its sales are positive.
