estudiante le brinda múltiples beneficios en su formación y desarrollo óptimo;
Music is an essential resource in the educational field because it provides the student with multiple benefits in his training and optimal development; in addition, it motivates him to participate actively in the classroom. Before the pandemic, a deficiency in attention and concentration has been perceived in 5-year-old children during academic activities; however, in remote classes and currently, there has been an increase in this problem that harms comprehensive learning. Based on the above, the following problem is determined: How does the teacher use music to motivate the participation of children in a 5-year-old classroom in a private initial educational institution in Metropolitan Lima? The main objective arises from analyzing the perceptions of a teacher about the use of music as a resource to motivate the participation of children in a 5-year-old classroom in a private educational institution in Metropolitan Lima.. To fulfill this objective, it is considered pertinent to be framed in the qualitative methodology and the semi-structured interview guide is chosen as a research instrument. Finally, it is concluded that music motivates the child to actively participate in the classroom; it is emphasized that to be practiced, the teacher must take into account the student's age, interests and musical background. In addition, it is relevant to promote musical moments that have specific objectives. An important finding is the improvisation of song lyrics, as it encourages students to stay focused during an activity.
