In the current corporate landscape, the emotional well-being of employees has emerged as a key component for organizational success, establishing a direct correlation be- tween effective emotional management and critical business metrics such as productivity and employee retention. Despite significant efforts by companies to enhance the well-being of their workforce, there are noticeable gaps in the tools available to leaders, who play a crucial role in managing emotional well-being in the workplace. To address these gaps, this research introduces EmoTeam, an innovative platform de- signed to record and analyze employees' emotions, thereby facilitating the development of emotional management strategies tailored to the unique characteristics of each company. The research methodology employed to develop and validate EmoTeam was comprehensive and multifaceted, incorporating techniques such as in-depth interviews, focus groups, extensive surveys, and fieldwork, among others. These methods provided deep insights into the emo- tional needs of employees and the interpersonal dynamics within teams, ensuring that EmoTeam offers practical, effective, and viable solutions. The theoretical foundation of EmoTeam emphasizes the significance of emotional in- telligence in fostering healthy and motivating work environments. The financial and social impact results of implementing EmoTeam were remarkably positive, revealing a Net Present Value (NPV) of $1,027,521 and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 237%, with a social NPV estimated at S/ 9,476,369. These outcomes were projected over a 5-year period, with an esti- mated initial investment of $290,452. Ultimately, EmoTeam yields an IRS of 40% in SDG 8, underscoring the necessity of addressing emotional well-being in companies to enhance the work environment and society at large.
