aprendizaje.
This State of the Art addresses the issue of digital competencies in teachers and their impact on Early Childhood Education. Its objective is to describe those digital competencies that teachers should possess in order to enable them to create innovations and new teaching-learning methodologies in early childhood education classrooms. The research methodology used comprises a qualitative documentary design, which allowed selecting, categorizing, contrasting and analyzing information from 25 academic sources. These were extracted from databases such as Redalyc, Scielo, Dialnet, among others; taking into account the time horizon from 2010 to 2020. The research presents two thematic cores: the first one addresses the development of digital competencies in early childhood teachers and the second one delves into the impact of ICT in the classroom. Within the research, the bibliographic sources that address aspects related to the topic of study have been contrasted in order to subsequently establish the final reflections. Among them, the idea that teachers will be responsible for being able to apply technological tools with criticality and responsibility to favor different learning spaces, where children will have options to enrich their learning, stands out.
