The present investigation seeks to know which are the factors that influence the execution of the Nutritional Articulated Strategic Program - PAN developed in the Piedra Liza Micro Health Network, district of San Juan de Lurigancho. Analyzing four aspects: nutritional counseling as an educational tool offered by the program, knowledge and attitudes about the main practices of hygiene and sanitation in families with children under 24 months of use of the services of health facilities, the use and consumption of the iron supplement in the lesser of 03 years and the perceptions of local actors about the program. Seeking to generate evidence from the Social Management that translates into new management tools and appropriate multisector intervention strategies that contribute to the successful execution of the NAP. Therefore, the methodological approach of the study is qualitative and crosssectional; collecting information through focus groups applied to 24 mothers with children under 36 months of age served in the health facilities (EESS) of the Micro Network, direct observation of the performance of 30 nutritional counseling provided by health professionals in the clinic, application of structured interviews to 10 main local actors involved in the fight against chronic child malnutrition and monitoring surveys on the use and consumption of iron supplements applied to 24 mothers with children between 6 to 35 months. Finding that, factors such as the high demand for patient care, high administrative burden in filling out records for each care, lack of training and technical assistance to health personnel in the use of educational tools, poor home monitoring, a great variety of erroneous information and myths about the main hygiene and food practices, lack of involvement and active participation of local actors; they are still the great challenges to be solved from the perspective of Social Management.
