With the advancement of technology it is possible to correct errors in the recording of a piece, song, etc. This may be for better or worse, because, although the final product may have a better quality, or perhaps not, the use of this technology may cause the interpreter to fall into a dependency that leads him to use this tool as a means to solve his mistakes due to a lack of practice in his instrument. This dependence can generate the lack of humanity in the recording, because the abuse of a program to solve the problems of instrumental performance can generate an artificial sound. Faced with this problem, the following question is born To what extent can the use of instrumental correction programs be used to ensure a recording without errors, even if it results in the loss of the humanity of the recording and therefore its authenticity is seen clogged up? So this research will try to provide a new point of view, to the already wide debate that exists on the use of these programs in the field of music. As a first part of this investigation, we will explain what they do and what some of the correctional programs are. In a second point we will mention the debate and different points of view that have been found in relation to the subject. In the third and fourth point we will talk about authenticity and humanity, key points in this research. And, as a final part, the conclusions will be given.
