The objective of this research is to identify the most relevant factors that influence the intention to use the Wayki App mobile application in the clients of the city of Cusco of the CMAC Cusco. This study takes the Technology Adoption Model as a reference, with the purpose of explaining the correlation between the variables: (a) perceived usefulness, (b) perceived ease of use, (c) compatibility with lifestyle and, (d) personal innovation towards information technology, in the intention to use the Wayki App mobile application. To achieve the objective of the research, the quantitative approach of cross-sectional subtype was adopted. Likewise, the methodology proposed by Peter Yamakawa, Carlos Guerreo and Gareth Rees was applied to measure the intention to use the application. On the other hand, the data collection was carried out through the application of a survey, which contained 18 questions, the sample consisted of 383 clients of the CMAC Cusco in the city of Cusco with an active debit card. The evaluation of the results showed that the factors of perceived utility, on the one hand, and personal innovation towards information technology, on the other hand, are the ones that most influence the intention to use the Wayki App mobile application. In this way, of the four hypotheses proposed, two were approved. In addition, the rejected hypotheses and the relationship between the factors were discussed. Finally, it is necessary to mention that the present investigation proposes a contribution to the theory of the adoption of technologies in the context of the city of Cusco, likewise, a behavior was evidenced, which can be used for the implementation of improvement proposals in mobile applications of the microfinance sector.
