The present work develops a business idea that aims to contribute to the reduction of overweight in the population, since as declared by the WHO (World Health Organization, 2021), this is considered one of the main problems of the 21st century. The business proposal is to deliver nutritional knowledge to the population, through easy access to information, consultation and control of their diet through a mobile application called “Nutritracker“. This solution will seek to contribute to SDG No. 3: Health and Well-being through a correct food culture; since, despite the figures for the growth of the overweight population, there is a positive trend for individuals to lead an increasingly healthy lifestyle. The work is divided into three chapters: the first chapter explains everything related to the business problem; in the second chapter the literature review is presented; and finally, the third chapter develops the solution to the business problem by applying the various scientific research methodologies, also analyzing other factors and indicators that define the success of the business solution (Alfaro, S. et al. (2021). Proposal of Mobile Application for Consultation and Control of Nutritional Consumption [Unpublished Academic Work]. Centrum PUCP). In conclusion, Nutritracker takes advantage of existing technological tools and proposes an innovative and disruptive business model powered by a powerful and more personalized database that facilitates access to nutritional information. In addition, with the application of agile methodologies, implementation and investment times are significantly optimized. It was identified that an important part of the Peruvian population is interested in having a better diet, which is an opportunity to implement Nutritracker. It is recommended to take into account the key factors for the success of the execution and measure the impact on the growing rate of overweight and obesity to guarantee compliance with the SDG.
