Domestic violence is a problem that affects the personal development of the members of a family group, often generated by negative factors that affect the attitudes of the aggressor(s), in addition to the presence of children in the home, a direct affection is granted to the process of individual experiences that will be evidenced in an inaccurate period of time, because the behavior of the infant can impregnate harmful characteristics for mental and physical health. Intrafamilial violence is the aggression that has as its focus the harmfulness in one of the individuals of parental character, which presents distinctive approaches of aggression, such as corporal, mental, sexual and economic aspect (Baez, 2019). The principle of the best interest of the child is relevant to the evidence of the progressive development of the infant, a general interest is possessed to gather the necessary resources to maintain the obligations, as well as the verification of compliance with the concrete rights (Ahlf, 2018). The methodology involved was focused on the quantitative aspect, it is of a non- experimental transectional correlational character, likewise the study instrument used is a 14- question questionnaire designated to a total of 35 collaborators. The results showed that 57.1% agreed that the occurrence of psychological aggression has a greater impact on children; on the other hand, 54.3% agreed that the level of compliance with the principle of economic support is frequently affected. The main conclusion of the Spearman correlation showed that domestic violence has an impact on the principle of the best interest of the child with a figure of 0.983.
