The main objective of this research work is to analyze the use of physical exercises, the mimesis of an animal and the Laban rhythms, in the construction and vocal interpretation of characters in a children's storytelling in podcast format. The topic addressed in this research responds to a motivation to recognize how physical exercises of theater and dance, which are used for staging, can be transferred to the voice of the actor/actress within a podcast. It is worth mentioning that we chose the children's story as a response to our experience within the professional field with kids and the need to integrate conventional theater exercises into children's work. Therefore, we have structured this work in four parts. In the first chapter, the research topic is developed and similar research in the state of the art will be discussed; in the second chapter we present the conceptual framework and in the third chapter we delve into the methodology; Finally, the fourth chapter presents the results of the study. This research is of a qualitative nature and an exploratory level from the arts, it included the review of bibliographical sources, interviews with experts, and a laboratory with zoom sessions with the participation of actors and actresses who explored both techniques and which concluded in the recording. of a children's story in podcast format. As a result, it is concluded that the physical techniques of the use of the animal and Laban rhythms allow the actor/actress to generate a more solid and specific vocal image for the interpretation and construction of a children's story character for a podcast format.
