The purpose of this thesis is to differentiate the reading comprehension between students with and without hearing impaiment in regular schools.It is assumed that exists differences of comprehension in this cases in favor of those who can hear. Also, the influence of the sex, level of educaion and type of school management in the reading comprehension performance of these students were researched. A total of 58 students between men and women from primary and secoundary education and public and private schools of the UGEL 07 took part of the research. Also, they were from private and public school from UGEL 07. Theirs ages were from 6 to 18 years old. We used the test Comprensión Lectora de Complejidad Lingüística Progresiva (CLP) form B which content was inspected by 5 experts in the area of Speech Language Pathology. In order to take the results, we took the final score and we transformed it according to the set of the standard for the test . In general terms, the results support the hypothesis of our research. Male and female students who are no-deaf have a higher level of reading comprehension than deaf students but if we talk about public and private school the results are not clear. According to the type of the school, we did not find any difference between students from private and public school, in reading comprehension deaf students from public school have the lowest score .
