Fundición Ferrosa, in a company that is dedicated to the design, engineering and manufacture of spare parts and pieces, offering a tailored solution to construction, brick making, cement and mining companies. It uses as input, metallic waste that goes through a series of production processes such as: design and simulation, modeling, molding, fusion, finishing, heat treatment and laboratory quality control. In the development and design of parts, it uses the ROCKY and ANSYS simulation software, which allows them to develop high-performance anti-wear parts; and, through the R + D + i area, they developed new alloys that improve the performance of the parts and increase their useful life, a differentiating element in relation to their competitors. As a result of the quantitative and qualitative analysis, as well as the Root Cause Analysis (ACR), four problems related to environmental management were identified: lack of formal responsible for environmental management, lack of monitoring and compliance with environmental commitments of the IGA , there is a lack of systematization of environmental management information; social management: lack of a Social Management Plan (CSR) based on stakeholder expectations and the corresponding systematization of information; in the management of procedures: there is a lack of a documentary information management system that allows for cross-sectional information; and in the Integrated Management System (SGI), it is necessary to internalize the SGI at the hierarchical levels of the company, designate a formal manager, sensitize staff on sustainability issues and delay in publishing the sustainability report. Four solution alternatives are proposed and it is recommended that they be addressed by the organization, because they will allow them to properly manage the environmental and social aspect, transversally integrate the adopted SGI, systematize the information, strengthen the organizational culture and generate sustainability reports as true management tools.
