Language is a particular capacity of the human being and of his conceptual thinking, it is the main means of communication that allows expressing aspects of personality and human interaction. However, at present, it is quite possible to find from an early age children with difficulties in the acquisition and development of language, which prevents communication and interaction with others in a certain environment. The objective of this case study is to design an assessment and intervention plan that will help develop and strengthen language skills in a 5-year-7-month-old boy with difficulties in the semantic, morphosyntactic and phonetic phonological lexical component. The hybrid intervention model is followed, where an important control of the activities and materials is maintained to stimulate the child to use specific linguistic behaviors spontaneously. The results show an increase in the expressive and comprehensive vocabulary of the programmed semantic categories, achievements in establishing relationships between words through associations by semantic categories, achievements in following simple action + object + location indications and in the elaboration of sentences. simple “S + V + O”, as well as improvement in the intelligibility of their expressions when emitting words of 4 syllables respecting their metrics. It is concluded that the intervention plan favored the child's interaction with his family, school and social environment, showing progress in the lexical-semantic, morphosyntactic and phonetic-phonetic components.
