In Peru, there are 83,279 SMEs nationwide, which represent 3.9% of the total number of formal companies in the country, providing employment to 14 out of every 100 peruvians. Additionally, the sales of this entrepreneurial group in 2021 accounted for 12% of the GDP. It is also important to note that 10% of the country's labor force is employed by SMEs. As a result of the pandemic, digital transformation, which was already gradually taking place in businesses, has significantly accelerated. This has provided customers with greater opportunities and benefits by allowing them to make purchases through digital means. It also represents an opportunity to expand their market and increase sales using various channels that are more efficient and have lower costs, achieving higher levels of profitability. Moreover, it offers the opportunity to improve operational processes and management. In this proposal, the research was focused on entrepreneurs of small and medium- sized enterprises located in Lima, La Libertad, Piura, and Arequipa, men and women with an average age between 40 and 50 years old. The Phalay business project not only aims to achieve financial profitability and support SMEs in their growth but also seeks to have a positive impact on the country's economic and social aspects, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 8 and its specific targets: 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, and 8.10. As part of the Financial Analysis, the Phalay business proposal presents an approximate calculation of a Net Present Value (NPV) of 2,797,498. To determine the Social Relevance Index (SRI), we identified 4 goals belonging to this SDG and their positive impact, resulting in a score of 40%. On the NPV side, we have obtained 6,368,338. Finally, Phalay is highly viable and sustainable, having a significant impact on SMEs and their role in the country's economy.
