Contemporary dance has managed to generate a greater impact in the artistic field of Peru. Currently in Lima, there are various dance studios that have been located in old buildings and in poor conditions where they practice this style of dance. However, the design for these spaces goes beyond a room with mirrors. The lack of knowledge from the dancers about what concepts imply designing a dance studio is evident in these studies. For this reason, through this research, will be carried out a comparative spatial and structural analysis of dance spaces, where the present case studies will be taken as an example for an adequate design of a dance hall.
