Technified agriculture in the highlands of Peru, despite its economic and social potential, is a huge challenge for different national, regional and local governments, since they have implemented it with little success. Due to this, most families in rural areas, dependent on agricultural activity, are in a situation of poverty and extreme poverty; and they look for new strategies to “get ahead“. On the other hand, from the private sector, through strategic alliances, an attempt is made to boost agricultural activity. In a way, and within their possibilities, the extractive companies try to generate a virtuous economic circuit for the communities of their area of influence, in order to promote a prosperous and harmonious coexistence. However, this type of project tends to have difficulties due to political, administrative, cultural and geographical situations, which must be made visible and analyzed. The mining company Ares SAC, within its framework of corporate social responsibility, during the years 2014 - 2018, carried out the “Project of the Technified Irrigation System in Pataripuccro, Annex of Villa Patarí“. After 4 years of implementation, we believe it is necessary to analyze and critically evaluate its implementation. In this sense, this research has identified the factors that favor or hinder the implementation of the Technological Irrigation System Project in Pataripuccro, based on the assumption that the technical capacities of the project, the valuation of the beneficiary farmers and the financing mechanisms are cross-cutting components that influence the results and the sustainability of the project. In order to formulate a corrective proposal to promote the best use of project implementation. The interpretive framework is based on the approach of the new rurality (with emphasis on the department of Ayacucho), the development of Corporate Responsibility and the role of extractive industries. At the methodological level, this thesis is of a qualitative ethnographic nature, since participant interview and observation were used, thanks to the fact that the researcher was able to participate in situ in the process of implementing the project as a community relationalist. Finally, it is expected that the research contributes to the Social Management stock, with the particular analysis of a project that, with the ups and downs or achievements, was a professional and sincere effort to build the social development of an isolated population, which had all your hope for progress in agriculture.
