The Brisas del Titicaca Cultural Association has become over time one of the axes that disseminate Puno culture both locally and globally. The present research focused on understanding the discourses about “authenticity“ that are handled in Brisas del Titicaca and the different forms of integration that these have with the requirements of the shows. For the development of this research, qualitative methodology was used, which had as its objective the description of the qualities and different situations that are part of the study, focusing not only on the environment of the development of the festival of the Virgin of the Candelaria within the BRISAS DEL TITICACA Cultural Association but in the elements that are articulated within it, such as dance. This form of expression has been transformed over time and is now a fundamental part of the artistic spectacle of the aforementioned institution and which, due to its performance, today, is articulated within the world of the cultural industry. What is at stake is being able to understand if perhaps this transformation and performance of the setting itself is precisely due to the influence of external dynamics; or it is simply part of the changes or transformations from which society is not immune, given that culture has not been inherent to the globalizing dimension that has been developing in recent decades.
