This investigative study aims to examine and evaluate the current circumstances related to the care of dependent elderly adults in the city of Arequipa, with the objective of developing a business model focused on offering better companionship and personalized care options for this population. Relevant insights were also identified for the proposal and its long-term viability. The research focuses on creating a digital platform for elderly care services such as companionship, therapy, rehabilitation, among others, addressing the main unmet demands of the market segment in question. This is grounded on a meticulously crafted marketing plan, an advanced prototype design, and an operational framework that support its desirability and feasibility. From the perspective of financial feasibility, estimates project an annual compound growth rate of 40%. The Net Present Value (NPV) of the project, considering a five-year horizon in a standard scenario, amounts to S/ 3,031,294.96, thereby supporting the economic feasibility of the proposal. In the socioeconomic realm, the initiative aligns positively with two Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Health and Well-being, and Decent Work and Economic Growth. It is noteworthy to mention that a social NPV of S/ 2,064,173 is projected for the initial five years, aiming to reduce the number of unprotected elderly adults, inadequately attended or abandoned. This strategy relieves the stress and concerns of relatives and promotes the dissemination of essential information on comprehensive care, nutrition, and health of the elderly. These interventions are geared towards enhancing the well-being and quality of life of this demographic group. The initiative aligns with two Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 3 - Health and Well-being and SDG 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth. The magnitude of its impact on each goal is assessed through specific indicators, based on the total number of targets associated with each SDG. From this evaluation, a Relevance Index of 80% for the project has been determined. The aforementioned information has been crucial in formulating conclusions. These aim to provide team members with a holistic view of the current situation in implementing the business framework, facilitating crucial decision-making for the project's effectiveness and sustainability.
