This research has as main objective to analyze the use of office tools that teachers from a Centre for Alternative Basic Education (CEBA) of Lima have. The research presents a quantitative approach, basic type, its level is descriptive and its design is non experimental. The population belongs to CEBA, consisting of 14 teachers. The samples were 10 teachers. For the gathering information, was elaborated a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The questionnaire addressed the following aspects: knowledge of office tools and their use in the personal-professional and educational level, by teachers. The results obtained show that the percentage of teachers who have extensive knowledge of word processor and presentations is low to medium, and in the spreadsheet that percentage is low. In the personal-professional field, a high percentage of teachers use the word processor often, presentations have use medium to high and spreadsheet has low percentage of use. However, in the educational field, a low number of teachers who often use the word processor and presentations were found; a high number, which does not use the spreadsheet was also found. In this regard, the use of office tools in the personalprofessional field is higher than in the educational field, highlighting the increased use of word processor, it is consistent with the results of other research on this topic, that is why is deduced the existence of a tendency on the frequent use of this tool.
