Journalism and its various information niches are going through a series of evolutionary and constant changes. Indeed, it has now found an immediate way to disseminate news in the present digital scenario. Therefore, this research has as its main objective to understand the way in which TikTok contributes to the construction of the identity and work practice of the five prosumers chosen, in said platform, in the field of sports journalism in Peru and its relationship with traditional sports journalists. Also, secondarily, it seeks to identify the main characteristics that define the content produced by the five chosen prosumers of TikTok in the field of sports journalism in Peru. To understand the differences in the perception of the five prosumers chosen in TikTok with respect to the labels with which they are called within the social platforms; to determine the self-perception of the five prosumers chosen from TikTok about their work and their relationship with traditional sports journalists in Peru; and to know how TikTok has contributed to the professional trajectory and recognition of the five prosumers chosen in the field of sports journalism in Peru. The classification of the research is exploratory and documentary. Qualitative data will be collected through content analysis and semistructured interviews. Mainly, it is concluded that TikTok prosumers in the field of sports journalism in Peru consider that their role within this digital platform contributes directly and extensively with the traditional communications of the aforementioned field because, with the creation of content, they comply with disseminating information, generating debate and formulating opinions to their users in a disruptive, creative and closer way.
