Las Configuraciones Relacionales actuales de un ex adepto del Sodalicio de Vida Cristiana

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal explorar y comprender la manera en que una persona que ha vivido en comunidad en el Sodalicio configura sus experiencias relacionales. Para ello, se realizó un estudio cualitativo de caso único que contó con la participación de un único participante al que llamaré “Carlos”. “Carlos” es un hombre de 47 años, cuyo involucramiento en esta organización religiosa empezó en la adolescencia, a los 17 años. Así, permaneció 31 años dentro del Sodalicio, 20 de ellos viviendo en comunidad. En una primera sesión, se aplicó una entrevista semiestructurada. Luego, en los siguientes encuentros, se aplicó la entrevista Paradigma de Anécdotas Relacionales (RAP). Mediante un análisis temático inductivo se encontró que las Configuraciones Relacionales que presenta el participante varían en relación al tiempo narrativo en el que se encuentran. Durante la vida en comunidad en el Sodalicio, encontramos dinámicas opuestas subyacentes donde busca identificarse con la autoridad y la comunidad sodálite, y al mismo tiempo rebelarse ante ella. Después de la vida dentro del Sodalicio pareciera que encontramos a un Self que, como péndulo, se mueve entre empujar y distanciarse del Otro, y buscar acercarse, desde un encuadre jerárquico y vertical donde hay dominio y sumisión. Finalmente, como configuraciones relacionales transversales, se encontró que el participante a lo largo del tiempo, busca que el Otro defina si sus decisiones están en lo correcto, desea tener el control de sus emociones y se encuentra en una búsqueda de valoración en relación con el Otro.

The present study aims to explore and understand the way in which a person who has lived in the Sodalitium community organizes their relational experiences. A qualitative single case study was carried out. The participant, whose name is “Carlos”, is a man who is 47 years old, and his involvement in the religious organization first started when he was a 17 year old teenager. He belonged to the organization for 31 years, in which he lived in the fraternal community of Sodalitium for 20 years. In the first session, a semi-structured interview was conducted. Later, in a second and third session, the Relational Anecdotes Paradigm interview (RAP) was applied. The data was analyzed under an inductive thematic analysis approach. The results showed that the relational configurations of the participant vary according to the narrative timeline in which they occur. During his passing in the fraternal community of Sodalitium, the relational experience of “Carlos” appears to consist of opposing underlying dynamics where he seeks to identify himself with the Sodalitium community and their authorities, on one hand, and rebel against them, on the other. His relational encounters after his time in the organization also manifest this opposing dynamic where a Self appears to move like a pendulum, oscillating between distancing itself from the Other, and seeking to get closer. Finally, as a transversal relational experience with the Other, this study found that, during and after his passing through the Sodalitium, the participant wants the Other to define his decisions, wants to have control of his emotions and searches to be valued by the Other.
