The main objective of this research is to analyze the narratives of the migration experiences of Peruvian nationals in the city of Strasbourg, France. This research was carried out by conducting interviews, both traditional and walking interviews, to eight Peruvians who emigrated when they were between 19 and 26 years old, a population that has been poorly explored before. The purpose of the interviews was to capture the narratives and memories linked to migration experiences in an effectively way. The walking interview tool was used as a methodological resource to elicit memories and sensory recollections associated with different moments of the migration process. The findings obtained focus on several points. First, the decision to migrate for all interviewees was based on the desire for emotional and economic independence from their families. Second, the new support networks formed in the Peruvian and Latino immigrant groups were found out and explored. Third, it was also important to note the confrontation between the preconceived ideas of France or Europe and the context they found themselves. The audiovisual material obtained is incorporated in the scrollytelling tool, which makes it possible to narrate in a visual and interactive way the testimonies of some participants. This approach makes it possible to integrate the subjective dimension of the interviews.
