This project basically consists of investigating how the Transcendental Meditation method applied in a public educational institution in the district of La Victoria works. Review and analyze the action of this method in schoolchildren, particularly in teachers and secondary school students. From a qualitative and interpretive approach, this work interprets the reality of this practice within the educational context. The proposed objective is to describe how this method works in this educational context, an approach to understanding this method and its benefits, understanding its importance and the need to carry out this type of project to help improve the academic performance of students. The research methodology is located in a qualitative exploratory approach, since the gaze is of compression of this little-known phenomenon in the Peruvian context. The techniques to collect information are interviews and surveys, which is applied to teachers and high school students. The Transcendental Meditation method is analyzed and studied from different theoretical sources that deal with this topic to understand what it means, how it works and why it is so beneficial for school performance. The conclusions help us to understand its operation and operability as a complementary tool for the development of academic performance.
