This consultancy seeks to provide Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde with an alternative solution that supports an improvement in the current management of the wetting of the slope of the La Enlozada tailings dam, through which the use of water is optimized and the needs of the main stakeholders are maintained; respecting the requirements of the high standards with which the construction of the La Enlozada dam is executed. Comprehensively reinforcing management in the operation of the tailings deposit. After the interaction with the interested parties, insight into the operation and gathering of information on the needs and solution ideas, jointly with a SMCV team specifically formed to develop the initial idea, we moved on to a stage of adaptation and creation of a minimally viable prototype; which was contrasted taking into account internal, national and international reference points. This is how, a humidification system consisting of an all-terrain equipment on caterpillars is proposed. The data presented, in this consultancy, will provide Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde with a complete analysis of the advantages offered by the wetting system proposed for the wetting of the La Enlozada tailings dam and, consequently, the positive impacts on its Integrated Management System of the tailings deposit, mainly in its water balance for the operation; taking care to respect, throughout the process, its principles of safe production and high performance culture. Therefore, it is considered that it will serve as a tool for decision making in search of continuous improvement
