Abstract: Es una costumbre que las familias compren de manera constante y motivadas por el mercadeo
digital diversos artículos tales como juguetes, prendas de vestir u objetos de decoración sobre
todo en fechas especiales como cumpleaños, Navidad, Año Nuevo, entre otras, siendo esta
acción transversal en todos los niveles socioeconómicos (NSE). Entonces, ¿qué es lo que
sucede cuando estos artículos ya no son novedosos ni tendencia o simplemente no son del
agrado del público? Pues, en su gran mayoría estos se guardan y acumulan en las casas para
terminar desechados en los vertederos impactando negativamente al medioambiente, siendo
la industria textil la segunda más contaminante del planeta. Por este motivo, se presenta una
idea innovadora como solución sostenible para la economía circular en el sector textil,
mediante el reciclaje tanto de ropa en desuso como de la recaudación de mermas textiles, las
cuales deben pasar por un proceso de transformación desde su trituración hasta su conversión
en napa siliconada, la cual se considera utilizar como relleno en nuevos productos orientados
en brindar comodidad a las mascotas. Para este propósito, se estimó una inversión inicial de
S/70,000, la cual generará un valor actual neto (VAN) de S/1’002,650 en un período de 5
años. En cuanto al aspecto social, la propuesta afecta de forma positiva el ODS 9 que se
enfoca en la industria, innovación e infraestructura y el ODS 12 vinculado con la producción
y consumo responsable, reduciendo los desechos del rubro de la confección.
It is a custom for families to constantly buy various items such as toys, clothing, or decorative objects, primarily driven by digital marketing, especially on special occasions like birthdays, Christmas, New Year, among others. This behavior spans across all socioeconomic levels. So, what happens when these items are no longer new, trendy, or simply not liked by the public? Well, the majority of these items are stored and accumulate in homes, ultimately ending up discarded in landfills, negatively impacting the environment. The textile industry is the second most polluting on the planet. For this reason, an innovative idea is proposed as a sustainable solution for the circular economy in the textile sector. This involves recycling both unused clothing and the collection of textile waste, which must undergo a transformation process from shredding to conversion into siliconized fiberfill. This fiberfill is considered for use in creating new pet comfort-oriented products. For this purpose, an initial investment of S/70,000 is estimated, which will generate a net present value (NPV) of S/1,002,650 over a period of 5 years. Regarding the social aspect, the proposal positively impacts Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 9, focusing on industry, innovation, and infrastructure, as well as SDG 12, linked to responsible production and consumption, reducing waste in the clothing industry.
