Bticino is an Italian company focused on electrical solutions for building and home automation. It has been part of the Legrand Group since 1989 and has stood out over the years for its emphasis on innovation and design, providing advanced and aesthetically pleasing technological solutions to meet user needs. It began its operations in Peru in 1961, focusing on the commercialization of low and medium voltage electronic products (switches, plates, outlets, protections, panels) imported from its main plants in Italy, France, China, the USA, Taiwan, and Mexico. This company operates in the residential, tertiary, and industrial sectors and is considered the leading brand for its high levels of quality, technology, and aesthetics in the construction of electrical, digital, and sustainable infrastructures. The objective of this consultancy was to identify the main problem facing Bticino that prevents it from achieving its stated goals. Through a diagnosis, the main problem identified was the decline in sales over the last three years (2021-2023) in the main business line (Line 2 – outlets and switches), which represents more than 40% of sales. Subsequently, possible solution alternatives were evaluated, and the consulting team proposed the chosen solution as the “Marketing Plan to implement marketing mix strategies.“ This alternative requires a total investment of S/. 1,663,188, which will be financed with the company's own resources and is expected to be recovered within a period of three years, under an expected scenario, with a positive NPV of S/. 2,768,488 and an internal rate of return (IRR) of 49%.
