The use of technology has grown exponentially in recent years having a strong impact on financial companies, which have been required to innovate their digital services with the goal to improve user experience. Furthermore, the fast growth of Fintech’s in the country has increased user expectations and experience standards. As a result, users nowadays prefer to use mobile applications or web pages to perform financial transactions to avoid a trip to the bank, save time, and/or prevent exposure to various risks. Nevertheless, while this technological progress has been achieved by Peru’s larger banks, financial entities with a smaller market share -on the contrary- have had minimal growth, leaving their users without access to the benefits of banking technologies. This thesis presents a proposal that seeks to alleviate this problem: It takes more time to users of smaller banks to perform financial transactions since, for example, they need to stop by the bank and wait. This work is divided into eight chapters, and the problem at issue is evidenced in the first one. Chapters two and three analyze the banking market and users of banking services respectively, and chapters four through eight go over our business project and its financial and social viability. This proposal seeks to solve a problem experienced by users of 35 financial companies that do not have access to the benefits offered by the digitization of the financial sector. This project aims to provide these users the possibility to integrate their financial operations through a mobile application called “Al Toke.” This platform would generate a positive impact socially by saving people time, and economically by honoring the Social Development Goal (SDG) of “Decent work and economic growth“. Finally, this proposal focuses on users from socioeconomic levels B, C and D, and users of Multiple Banking (banks), Financial Companies, Municipal and Rural Savings Banks.
