The Nutritional Health component is one of the three lines of action of the Communal Houses project of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima, it belongs to the Social Development department and its purpose is to promote food security for families within the area of influence of each house. communal. The interventions were carried out through awareness raising about healthier ways of eating, educational training to know products of high nutritional value and demonstration sessions for the preparation of iron-rich meals in order to ensure a healthy diet in the families that participate and consume in the common dining rooms and pots located inside the Communal Houses. The relevance of this research lies in the analysis of the factors that limit and/or contribute to the effective implementation of the Nutritional Health component of the Community Houses project of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho during the period 2019- 2021. The research process resorted to the qualitative approach, for which four community houses were identified whose criteria was that continuous work on the Nutritional Health component had been carried out. The information was obtained through primary sources through the use of collection techniques such as structured and semi-structured interviews, focus group to the project coordinator, specialist of the Nutritional Health component, Nutritional health promoters, leaders and/or directors of the chosen community houses. and user population; accompanied by a documentary review of technical reports on the project in general and the Nutritional Health component specifically. Taking as study variables a) Process management; b) Availability of resources; c) Fulfillment of roles; d) Articulation level; e) User expectation level; f) Use and application of the content. The findings of the present investigation show us that factors limited the effective implementation of the Nutritional Health component for the achievement of the objectives directed to the users, these are linked to an incipient process management of the line of action, a limited budget allocation for the achievement of the objectives, a tenacious bureaucracy to strengthen articulations, user expectations that are not met by the project and the covid-19 context. On the contrary, the factors that contributed to the effective implementation of the component are due to the commitment of social actors such as project personnel, leaders, and the community.
