The main objective of this document is to develop a sustainable business model through the design and manufacture of a line of recycled corrugated cardboard furniture in Lima Metropolitan for the home category, thus contributing with a product that minimizes the consequences of a social relevant problem identified, on the one hand, by the low valuation given to solid waste in Lima and on the other hand, the consequences generated by the indiscriminate felling of trees in Peru to obtain wood. Through agile methodologies, designs and styles were defined for a furniture line that uses recycled corrugated cardboard as its main raw material. This process was based on insights gathered from focus groups, interviews with potential customers, and surveys targeting the audience residing in Metropolitan Lima. The focus was on individuals from Generation X and Y, belonging to socioeconomic levels A and B. The outcome was a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that served as a foundation for the development of various home furniture models. These models stand out for their functionality and appealing aesthetics, characterized by a style that involves assembling pieces of the same size and design to create furniture structures such as shelves, chairs, tables, and general decor. The MVP was validated through a survey, with results indicating that at least 89.5% of the target audience would be willing to purchase one of the products. Finally, this project is financially viable and has been built based on the projected demand for the next five years of our business development. For this validation our total investment amounts to S/.730,860 and includes all costs from the constitution of the company to its start-up. The sales projection increases approximately 15% annually, obtaining a Financial NPV of S/.3’796,502 and a Financial IRR of 250.71%, as well as an Economic NPV of S/.3’924,093 and an Economic IRR of 156.7%.
