The application and contribution of intelligence in the field of crime is of utmost importance, as it increases the capacity of the PNP by preventing, investigating and combating common criminals and organized criminals, at their different levels and areas of action. In this sense, adopting appropriate decisions, developing policies with operational and tactical strategies, as well as planning police operations, must be based on the criminal intelligence produced. The study carried out identified that during the years 2020 to 2022, the DIVICCDirincri PNP had limited intelligence production. The main cause was the inadequate execution of the information analysis phase, coupled with the fact that there are few personnel trained in intelligence analysis, due to the limited training provided in this regard. In addition, said unit has a shortage of technological equipment. To improve the execution of the phase in which the analysis is carried out, during the cycle that produces intelligence, and to increase the limited production of intelligence in the DIVICC, the development of the project called National Criminal Investigation Information System (SINIC) has been proposed as an innovative solution. constituted by a structured database of criminal acts, which will guarantee the evaluation, storage, classification and organization of information, quickly available for criminal analysis purposes, increasing the organization's capacity to produce current, timely and necessary knowledge regarding the crime phenomenon constituted by common and organized crime.
