In 2016, in the city of Chimbote, the Cineclub Cinequanom is created as an alternative exhibition venue for independent peruvian productions that have hardly any place within the commercial billboard and for new regional filmmakers who had few opportunities to present their productions in venues with optimal conditions. In 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it closed its doors to the public. The purpose of this project is to develop a digital adaptation strategy that will allow Cinequanom to continue promoting national, regional and local film productions; furthermore, to generate a platform for dialogue to transform the viewer into a more active agent and democratize access to films. The comparative advantages of the project are the promotion of regional cinema; a methodology to take cinema to different parts of the country and the creation of strategic alliances to make the initiative sustainable. First, a diagnostic process was developed to explore the knowledge and attributes of the Cinequanom team, the procedures of national film clubs, the available technological potential available, as well as the profile and new forms of consumption of the viewer-participants. Then, after the information and knowledge was analyzed, the following strategies were proposed: the methodology design for the digital proposal, the strengthening of the Cinequanom's digital community, the generation of content linked to the film productions and the development of fundraising methods. A budget plan, a pilot test and the design of a monitoring and feedback plan were also elaborated to guarantee the continuity of the project.
